Thames Valley Science Park

What They Said: The University of Reading has appointed GRAHAM Construction to a £22.7M project to construct the ‘Gateway’ building, as part of the first phase of the development of Thames Valley Science Park in Shinfield, Reading.
The new build, located at the entrance to the Science Park, will stand at three storeys tall, providing 48,000 sq ft of high-quality laboratory and flexible office space, tailored to the needs of small to medium sized technology companies.
Proposals also include the upgrading of the surrounding infrastructure as well as significant landscaping works which will mature as the park grows.
The ‘Gateway’ building will be the first of four new structures on the 16-hectare (47 acre) park. Once fully completed, the Science Park as a whole will provide 800,000 sq ft of laboratory and office space in a campus style setting, designed to foster collaboration between innovative, technology-led companies.
