What They Said: Aberfeldy Village is our multi-phase regeneration of a seven-acre site in Tower Hamlets close to East India DLR station. We’re creating a tenure-blind new community who can either buy or rent and enjoy living in an up and coming area with fast access to Canary Wharf and central London. Aberfeldy has the first build for rent homes, which are adjacent to the homes for sale. These units are designed for renters and not market sale, and were some of the first new-build PRS homes to gain institutional investment, in this case from M&G.

They were developed by Be Living, our residential specialist developing the entire estate with JV partner Poplar HARCA, who owns the land. Before we arrived, it was a brownfield site with 1960s housing that had come to the end of its useful life!

We believe that building both market sale and PRS together accelerated the project by two years!
